Description: The Guelph Black Heritage Society is fundraising to build a ramp to enable wheelchair access to Heritage Hall (83 Essex Street) which was formerly known as the British Methodist Episcopal Church, a significant destination on the 19th century “Underground Railroad” slave escape route.
The goal is to reach $47,000 and $4,500 has been raised so far. This licensed event features live music by “The Things” and DJ Charless Janzen.
