Description: The World Religions Conference (WRC) has been serving for the last 33 years in Canada as an invaluable means for bringing different religious and ethnic communities together in a manner which breeds tolerance, peace, cooperation, and understanding amongst the different religions within our society. The event is now considered the largest Multi-faith event in Canada.
This year’s upcoming event, whose theme was inspired by the creation of the office of religious freedom, will explore religious freedom as taught and practised by founders of different religions of the world. The 33rd World Religions Conference is planned with all its legendary traditions at a new venue of the River Run Centre in the City of Guelph on Sunday, October 6, 2013.
Speakers representing the world’s major religions and Humanism, as well as religious leaders, members of academia and media, and other dignitaries will participate in the event.
The event is organized and sponsored by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at of Canada with the cooperation of several cities, academic institutions and faith based associations.
