Description: On December 14, 2013, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph will launch its inaugural Big Little Run – a pledge-based 5km run/walk event in support of the programs and mentorships we provide to youth in our community.

Whether you’re a serious athlete, or this is your first 5km race, we welcome participants from all backgrounds. All participants are encouraged to collect pledges to support our mentoring initiatives and, ultimately, to invest in the leaders of tomorrow. And if you’re not a runner, but you’ve got a child (under 13) who would like to participate in the 1km fun run, their entry is free.

Highlights of the event include:
– registration fee of only $25
– a scenic route winding through University of Guelph’s Arboretum
– a complimentary race kit includding a running toque and accessories
– an after-party with awards ceremony, free snacks & water, and prizes
– a 1km Kids Fun Dash for those 12 and under
