Description: When “ribfest” comes to Guelph on the weekend of August 24th, Guelph Pig Save ( https://www.facebook.com/pigsaveguelph ) is hosting an alternative event called Pigfest.

This will be a true celebration of pigs, of who they are as individuals, and not simply the taste of a body part (e.g. ribs).

Pigfest will include hosting an array of vendors serving all vegan food and a vegan BBQ (free food!); some talks promoting the rights of pigs and all animals; representatives of our local animal sanctuaries; and other entertainment!
