From their website:
“A group of Canadian citizens representing diverse political views have developed an electoral reform solution that addresses the concerns and conditions of the Prime Minister and the opposition parties. These citizens want to help the Liberals keep their promise to end the “First-Past-the-Post” voting system.
The solution is called Local Proportional Representation (LPR). People from across Canada, members of the ERRE Special Committee on Electoral Reform and representatives of each political party have provided input. Respected members of the Guelph Liberal, NDP, Green, and Conservative Parties have endorsed LPR.
It was launched on February 23rd. Community leaders have endorsed it. Some leading politicians already support it. Support for LPR is growing.”
