Save Our Speed

Title: Save Our Speed
Location: City Hall Guelph
Description: Council will be considering the recommendation of Heritage Guelph.
Heritage Guelph is recommending designation of the bridge and surrounding land as a cultural heritage landscape is bounded to the west by the Speed River, to the north by the Guelph-Eramosa and Puslinch Township line, to the south by the city’s boundary and to the east by the GRCA cornfield land.
The aim of designating this area under the Ontario Heritage Act as a cultural heritage landscape is that it would “be preserved in such a form as to continue its sight lines and its current land use patterns,”
