Location: University Centre (UC) 441, University of Guelph

Description: Stress causes widespread long-term affects on the body, mind and spirit. From a holistic herbalist perspective, we will look at perception to stressors, and how stress and trauma can manifest as physical and emotional issues. We will explore how diet, lifestyle, and herbs can help us shift toward body repair and emotional healing.

Emily Peters is a Clinical Herbalist Intern, currently studying and practicing at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism. She has been studying plants and herbalism for seven years. She wants to meet people where they’re at in terms of barriers and access to resources, and she aspires to create a healing space for all genders, races, abilities and ages. For more information about herbalism visit www.vtherbcenter.org.

Please note: The building and the room are wheelchair accessible, and there are accessible washrooms. Child care is available – please get in touch so we know numbers and ages and can plan appropriate activities.
